According to the latest Bundeswehr survey, Russia is increasingly perceived as a threat in Germany. Research participants also spoke on the topic of “military suitability”, which revealed an increase in those who support and approve of military support for Ukraine compared to 2023.

According to the survey, almost half of the citizens surveyed (49%) are in favor of military support for Ukraine, which is four percentage points more than in 2023.
