t – Ukraine will receive two air defense systems from Germany – UNIAN
The German Ministry of Defense assured that they will continue to help Ukraine.
By the end of this year, Germany will transfer two more IRIS-T short- and medium-range anti-aircraft missile systems to Ukraine.
Christian Freuding, head of the special staff for Ukrainian issues at the German Ministry of Defense, announced this during a visit to Kyiv, European Pravda reports. The major general recalled that in recent days Berlin has sent artillery howitzers, tanks and Marder infantry fighting vehicles to Ukraine:
“The next IRIS-T SLM and SLS systems should arrive in Ukraine over the next days and weeks, before Christmas. But our support will continue after Christmas, and after January 1, and after January 21, and after February 23 – offered in Germany federal election dates.”
