From December 13 to 15, Norway will host the first Waldner Cup with the participation of veterans and current world stars of table tennis, Sports.kz reports with reference to Olympic.kz.
Kazakhstani Kirill Gerasimenko will play in the Asian team, which will also be represented by six-time Olympic champion Ma Long, Chen Meng, Jang Wudjin, Lim Jonghoon, Shin Yubin, Manika Batra.
The world team will be represented by Jan-Ove Waldner, recognized by the International Table Tennis Federation as the best player of the 20th century, Truls Moregard, Dmitry Ovcharov, Hugo Calderano, Adriana Diaz, Bernadette Söch.
