Body exchange – bodies of military personnel were returned to Ukraine – UNIAN
They fought on different directions of the front.
On Friday, November 8, the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War announced the return to Ukraine of the bodies of 563 fallen defenders of the country:
“We managed to repatriate 320 bodies of defenders who died in the Donetsk direction and 89 fallen soldiers from the Bakhmut direction. We also managed to return 154 bodies from morgues in the Russian Federation.”
The Ukrainian Armed Forces will transport the repatriated bodies and remains to designated government facilities, and law enforcement and forensic experts will establish their identities.
