The Ministry of Defense suspended the use of mines due to defects
Ammunition consignments have been seized for further research and their use has been suspended.
For three weeks now, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has been actively investigating the causes of the accidental detonation of 120 mm mines.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense.
The lack of official comment does not indicate inaction by the agency, but rather is the result of a closed-door operation to ensure maximum efficiency and security. Given the current situation with Russian aggression, such information is sensitive and available only to a limited number of people.
Currently, the Ministry of Defense has suspended the use and issuance of the specified batches of ammunition until the reasons for their improper functioning are clarified.
