Initially, the main event was supposed to see the temporary champion of the lightweight division Salamat Isbulaev (6-0) and the full-fledged champion in this weight from Kyrgyzstan Nurzhan Rustamov (17-8) meet, but the second at the last moment abandoned the fight and left the belt, which was automatically transferred into the hands of Salamat.
