Ukrainian scouts conducted an unusual evacuation from Zmiiny Island. As part of the “GUR-KIT” operation, the fighters of the “Timur Special Unit” took 15 cats to the “great land”.
This was reported to the GUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
“The approach of winter frosts complicates the carefree life of numerous cats and kittens living on Zmiiny Island. So the soldiers of the “Timur Special Unit” of the GUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, who were on patrol, decided to do an important thing – they evacuated 15 animals from the island to the “big land”, – it is said in the intelligence statement.
Scouts carefully brought cats to Sirius, one of the largest animal shelters in Ukraine.
