Europe cannot provide Ukraine with enough weapons, so it invented a new approach – WSJ
In an effort to produce enough weapons for Ukraine's war effort, European allies are introducing a new method: giving Ukrainians money to do it themselves.

Under the new approach, the Europeans finance Ukrainian government contracts with Ukrainian arms manufacturers to produce equipment for the armed forces, including long-range missiles and drones that can inflict damage on Russian territory. Kyiv tells its partners which companies to work with and buy weapons, while the Europeans independently check manufacturers before agreeing to deals.
