Orphans will receive a thousand hryvnias each on St. Nicholas Day – Money
The money will arrive on St. Nicholas Day.
Orphans and children deprived of parental care, who are brought up in the families of guardians or custodians, will receive an additional one thousand hryvnias for each child.
This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.
The corresponding initiative will be implemented within the framework of “Winter Support”. The Prime Minister also thanked UNICEF, which provides financial resources for this program.
He also added that the reform of the child care and support system continues in Ukraine. For this purpose, the meeting adopted the Strategy for ensuring the right of every child to grow up in a family environment and the plan of measures for its implementation.
