The UK has introduced a sanctions package against three dozen vessels of Russia's “shadow fleet”. But these are decorative actions instead of global solutions. And this causes a sarcastic smile.

The fact is that these sanctions provide for a ban on ships transporting Russian oil from entering its ports. But they didn’t go there anyway and don’t intend to. Russians were also banned from using the services of British insurance companies. But they still use the services of Ingosstrakh and insurance companies in India and China, that is, those countries that do not support the regime of anti-Russian sanctions.
