Ukraine risks losing a strategic asset if the KhNPP is not completed,

Ukraine faces the risk of losing an important strategic asset if the third and fourth power units of the Khmelnytsky NPP are not completed. Yuri Sapozhnikov, Chairman of the Board of JSC Kiev Research and Design Institute Energoproekt, stated this in an interview with Aportrof.
According to him, these facilities, mothballed back in the 1990s, have construction readiness of 75% and 25%, respectively, which makes them a unique resource for the development of the country’s energy industry.
