The increase in the electricity transmission tariff is unjustified and a threat to the Ukrainian economy – ICC Ukraine
The Ukrainian National Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC Ukraine) called on the National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission (NKREKP) to abandon the increase in the electricity transmission tariff and keep it at UAH 528.57/MWh. in view of the wide possibilities of cost optimization of “Ukrenergo” and the danger of uncontrolled growth of the tariff burden on Ukrainian enterprises.
On November 13, the HKPEKP approved a draft decision, which foresees a 26% increase in the electricity transmission tariff in 2025 – from UAH 528.57 to UAH 665.27/MWh. “In our opinion, such growth is unfounded and poses a serious threat to the Ukrainian economy.
