The head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Ermak, admitted the possibility of starting negotiations with Russia subject to a return to the situation on February 23, 2023. He said this in an article for Dagens Industri.
Ermak noted that fruitful negotiations are only possible when all warring parties have a desire to stop fighting.
“In addition, it is necessary to return the situation to at least the state of February 23, 2022. This would be the starting point for further settlement, since before this date part of Ukraine was occupied,” he noted.
At the same time, Ermak noted that Russia has not yet shown signs of such readiness, continuing its escalation.
