Oleg Tsarev's property is confiscated – how many years is the punishment prescribed – Ukraine

Former People's Deputy Oleg Tsarev received a prison sentence in another criminal proceeding: he was found guilty of financing the armed aggression of the Russian Federation.

The court sentenced the former People's Deputy of Ukraine to 5-7 convocations from the banned “Party of Regions”. His property worth 460 million hryvnias has already been confiscated.

This is stated in the notification of the Prosecutor General's Office.

“Eksnardepa was found guilty of financing actions committed with the aim of changing the borders of the territory and the state border of Ukraine (Part 3 of Article 110-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). He was sentenced to 8 years in prison. Also, according to the court's decision, all property belonging to the convicted person is subject to confiscation “, the Prosecutor General's Office said.
