President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a telephone conversation with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte regarding the strengthening of the Ukrainian air defense system.
The president announced this in his Telegram channel.
“Yesterday, a meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Council took place due to Russia's use of a new ballistic missile. We discussed with Mark the available response options – the necessary strengthening of Ukraine's air defense system. I named the specific air defense systems that are needed, which can work. These air defense systems are available to our partners,” – wrote the guarantor.
He reminded that the decisions of the NATO summit in Washington regarding the supply of air defense systems and other front-line weapons to Ukraine have not yet been fully implemented.
