Zelensky responded to calls from the West to lower the mobilization age to 18
Ukraine lacks weapons from Western partners for the already mobilized soldiers of the Armed Forces.
Calls to lower the mobilization age in Ukraine, which are heard by Western partners, do not make sense while the Ukrainian army lacks weapons to equip already mobilized soldiers.
Dmytro Lytvyn, adviser to President Zelensky, emphasized this in his post on X social network.
“We see that the previously announced equipment is not arriving on time. Due to these delays, Ukraine does not have enough weapons to arm already mobilized soldiers,” the post reads.
According to him, Western partners have full access to information on the supply of weapons, so they can compare promises with actual deliveries.
“It cannot be expected that Ukraine will compensate for delays in logistical support or hesitation in youth support…
