Elena Ostrovskaya, a specialist in preventive and anti-age medicine at the European Medical Center (EMC), reminded how much chocolate can be eaten per day without harm to health, Sports.kz reports with reference to Ferra.ru.
The expert noted that chocolate is a healthy product, but also has limitations. For example, 20–30 grams per day are harmless, but no more. Despite its usefulness, chocolate contains a high level of carbohydrates, primarily sugar – about 50 grams per 100 grams of product, as well as fat – 30-35 grams.
People with diabetes and obesity should not indulge in sweet chocolate because of the risk of developing diseases due to the high calorie content of the product. And you will have to refuse altogether if you are allergic to the ingredients.
