FAS Russia has identified an unreasonable increase in gasoline prices in the Kirov region

In the Kirov region, one of the large enterprises unjustifiably raised prices for automobile fuel. TASS writes about this with reference to the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) of Russia.
As the department reported, the company Lukoil-Uralnefteprodukt came under inspection. It was established that at gas stations owned by it in the Kirov region there was an increase in the cost of gasoline, while exchange prices for fuel decreased. The FAS Russia also noted that the company enjoys a dominant position in the region.
Thus, there were no objective economic grounds for increasing the cost of fuel. Based on the results of the consideration of the case, the increase in retail prices was found to be unfounded. The company will be issued an order and face an administrative fine in accordance with the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, the message says…
