In Ukraine, a serviceman from the SBU was convicted who refused to leave occupied Energodar and defected to Russia.
This is stated in the verdict of the October District Court of Zaporozhye
According to the court, SBU lieutenant refused to leave occupied Energodar and move to a new location. Later, he switched to the side of Russia and took part in the filming of propaganda stories. He stated on camera that allegedly “he was not allowed to take his family out of the occupation and was offered to spread “lies” about the crimes of the Russian occupiers.” The SBU employee also claimed that he was ready to work for Russia.
The suspect did not come to the court session. His lawyer argued that the man should be acquitted due to lack of evidence.
