Andrey Shutov explained the defeat of Barys and compared the KHL with the Slovak championship – Hockey
Goalkeeper Andrey Shutovwho yesterday played his 50th match in the Kontinental Hockey League, commented on the defeat in an interview with SPORT+ “Barysa” from “Siberia” – 0:2, reports Sports.kz.
— Andrey, 50th match. Do you think this is already a lot for you, or is it still not enough, considering that you have been in the club system for quite a long time?
— To be honest, I don’t think so. Of course, everyone always wants more. But if I wanted to play more matches, I would go for a singles sport (smiles).
— Your calendar year is quite busy: a full season in the KHL, the World Championship, a move to Slovan and back to Barys. How do you manage to rebuild?
“I won’t complain, so this is my path.” The most important thing is to get as much ice time as possible, develop and benefit the team.
