On November 22, Dmytro Ukhin, a 55-year-old resident of the Kyrysh district of the Leningrad region, went to look for his pet cat Styopka in the neighborhood. The cat had an independent nature and loved nothing more than to roam freely around the neighborhood. Eyewitnesses later told police that Woohin found his pet and took it home, but could not explain why or how the cat scratched his leg so badly that it bled to death within minutes.
It was around 11 p.m. when a distraught Uhin called his neighbor and reported that he was bleeding profusely. A neighbor tried to help the 55-year-old man, but he apparently suffered from diabetes and blood clotting problems, so he called an ambulance. When the ambulance arrived, the doctors could only state…
