Shooting of prisoners – the occupiers killed 5 soldiers of the Armed Forces in Zaporizhzhia — Ukraine

The Russian army once again shot Ukrainian prisoners of war in Zaporizhzhia. It happened on November 24, 2024, near the settlement of Novodarivka, Pologiv district.
This is reported by the Zaporizhia Regional Prosecutor's Office.
As noted in the department, servicemen of the armed forces of the Russian Federation shot five Ukrainian defenders out of six captured. The law enforcement officers established a division of the occupying army whose servicemen are currently being checked for involvement in this crime. The investigators also received a video recording of the moment of the shooting.
“The killing of prisoners of war is a gross violation of the Geneva Conventions and qualifies as a grave international crime,” the prosecutor's office emphasizes.
