Security service neutralized an agent group of Russian military intelligence operating in Kharkiv.
This is stated in the notification of the department.
It is noted that the perpetrators arranged caches with money and grenades on the outskirts of the city. In this way, those involved were supposed to create a “reserve” for other agents and saboteurs of the Russian Federation for subversive activities in the region.
According to the SBU, under the instructions of the military intelligence of the Russian Federation, the attackers made hideouts mainly in forest plantations, and then sent the coordinates of the hideouts to their Russian curator via messenger.
In addition, the agents collected intelligence on the bases of the Defense Forces. To do this, they bypassed the territory of Kharkiv and the surrounding area, where they conducted preliminary reconnaissance based on the coordinates received from the occupiers.
