The head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, called on Ukrainians to go to victory together and remain united both in times of war and in times of peace. He said this during his welcome speech to the participants of the international forum “Veterans – the way home”, which took place in Lviv.
“It is a great honor to represent Ukraine and the veteran environment here. Our war is still going on, but even after victory, its consequences will catch up with us for a long time. We must be ready to deal with them effectively. None of us were born by our parents for war. But we accepted this challenge. We will protect our border, families, property, culture, honor. However, we must remain united: both in times of war and in times of peace. It is better to go to victory together, not alone,” Budanov stressed.
