Bukovel has begun a large-scale transformation aimed at creating a certified tourist cluster

As part of the 3rd National Tourism Summit, Bukovel officially announced the implementation of the principles of sustainable development in its activities and the transition to the format of a tourist destination. One of the key moments of the event was the signing of the Memorandum on cooperation with the State Tourism Development Agency of Ukraine (DART). This step lays the foundation for systemic changes in the tourism industry of the Carpathian region and Ukraine in general.

Maryana Oleskiv, head of DART, emphasized: “Bukovel creates conditions for sustainable and socially responsible tourism, which is focused on the transition to international standards and economic growth of the region. This pilot project can become a model for the entire tourism industry of Ukraine.”
