Raising taxes in Ukraine – Zelensky signed the law – UNIAN

The document will come into force on December 1.

President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky signed a law on increasing taxes (No. 11416-d). This is stated in the bill card on the Verkhovna Rada website.

The bill was adopted by parliament in the second reading on October 10. It was expected that the tax increase would be retroactive to October, but the president did not sign the adopted draft law for a long time. According to Prime Minister Denis Shmygal, it will come into force on December 1.

The law, in particular, provides for an increase in the military tax for employees from 1.5% to 5% and an expansion of the circle of its payers for individual entrepreneurs.
