Ukraine welcomed the decision of US President-elect Donald Trump to appoint General Keith Kellogg as a special representative for Ukraine.
This was announced by the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Heorhiy Tykhy, during a briefing.
“As for General Kellogg, we welcome his nomination for this important mission,” Tykhi said.
The spokesman noted that Kellogg has long been known to the Ukrainian side. The Embassy of Ukraine in the USA actively cooperated with him within the framework of expert diplomacy, and constructive interactions are currently continuing.
