Help for Ukraine – an important agreement was signed with the EU – UNIAN
The new assistance will ensure macroeconomic stability in Ukraine.
Ukraine and the European Union signed a memorandum of understanding regarding the provision of macro-financial assistance worth 18.1 billion euros using frozen Russian assets.
As Vice-President of the European Commission Valdis Dombrovskis said on the social network Facebook, this guarantees that Russia will directly pay for the losses it caused through its brutal war. Also, this assistance will allow Ukraine to meet its immediate needs, ensure macroeconomic stability and provide the financial resources necessary to fight:
