This was reported by well-known insider Tom Henderson in his publication Insider Gaming. Tom drew attention to the post of one of the Cloud Imperium Games developers on Twitter, where he said that over the past two days the company had fired many workers even without compensation.
According to Henderson himself, the wave of layoffs most affected the QA department and testers. About a dozen of them were cut. The same Henderson reported a month earlier that Cloud Imperium Games had temporarily transferred its developers to a seven-day work week.
