On November 28, customs officials stopped a 34-year-old resident of Lviv Oblast at the Rava-Ruska — Khrebenne checkpoint, who was trying to take currency exceeding the allowed limit out of Ukraine.

During the inspection of his Mercedes Sprinter car, customs officials found 9 thousand euros, 36,990 Polish zlotys and 2,194 US dollars among the man's personal belongings. The total amount exceeded the permissible limit of 10,000 euros established by customs legislation for leaving the country without declaration.
