Kojima wants to reinvent cinema with his adaptation of Death Stranding – UNIAN

The game designer wants to show another dimension in cinema.

Hideo Kojima wants to make the Death Stranding film not just a “game adaptation,” but, as the game designer put it, a new dimension in cinema.

Kojima told Variety about this. According to him, the film based on Death Stranding will reinvent cinema and show its new dimension:

“I strive to introduce a new dimension to cinema beyond simply turning a game into a film.”

The film based on Death Stranding is being produced by the independent studio A24, known for the experimental films “Everything, Everywhere and At Once”, “MaXXHin”, as well as the works of director Robert Eggers “The Witch” and “The Lighthouse”.

Kojima previously said that he would participate in the creation of the film adaptation of Death Stranding, but someone else would direct.
