Crypto entrepreneur Justin Sun has fulfilled the promise he made after spending $6.2 million on a painting of a banana taped to the wall – ate a fruit.

In one of Hong Kong's most expensive hotels, Sun ate a banana in front of dozens of journalists and influencers after giving a speech in which he called the work “iconic” and drew parallels between conceptual art and cryptocurrency.
“It's much better than other bananas,” he said after tasting it for the first time. “It's really delicious.”
