The Kremlin press service published a transcript of the conversation between the president and the head of the Kirov region. The dialogue between Alexander Sokolov and Vladimir Putin appeared on the official website of the head of state.

On Friday, November 29, Alexander Sokolov visited the Kremlin and told Vladimir Putin about the development of the region. The governor began by visiting all 45 municipalities during more than two years in office and becoming fully immersed in local issues.

The head of the region noted that at the end of 2023, the economy grew by 4 percent, which is higher than previous and average Russian indicators. At the same time, industry growth was 16 percent. Good performance in other sectors: agriculture, manufacturing and chemistry.
