On the banks of the Tisza border guards of the Mukachevo detachment detained two men who tried to illegally cross the border with Romania.
This was reported by the press service of the DPSU.
The violators were stopped only 50 meters from the border, when they were preparing to swim across the cold river without any watercraft. The detainees were residents of Kyiv and Vinnytsia regions. They admitted that they had paid significant sums to the shippers: one — 13,000 US dollars, the other — 6,000.
Protocols on administrative offenses have been drawn up regarding the detainees.
“The court will provide a legal assessment of their actions. Currently, operatives of the detachment are identifying the organizers of the illegal border crossing of the specified group of men,” the message says.
