Kremlin ruler Putin appointed Colonel General Rustam Muradov as first deputy commander-in-chief of the ground forces of the Russian Federation.
As the head of the Tabasar region of the Republic of Dagestan, Magomed Kurbanov, reports in his Telegram channel, Putin has already signed a corresponding decree. The Moscow Times calls Muradov one of the main butchers of the war against Ukraine.
