The measuring cup provided by the manufacturer with the liquid laundry detergent is almost 10 times larger than what is actually needed. This is stated by professionals from the company Appliance Doctors, writes the New York Post.
“This is just another tactic that manufacturers use to get you to spend more on their products,” they said.
Cleaning experts recommend using only two teaspoons of liquid laundry detergent or two tablespoons of powder.
“It may not be a lot in the dispenser, but trust us, this is how much detergent you really need for a standard wash of clothes,” the experts shared.
