On August 15, an accident occurred with a 61-year-old watchman of the Zvezda agricultural production company in the Verkhoshizhemsky district. An electrical short circuit occurred in the boiler room building where the worker remained. The building was on fire.

Firefighters localized the fire and found the body of a watchman in the control room.

The cause of the accident was the non-compliance of the condition of the building with labor safety requirements, the employee being intoxicated at the workplace, and the employer’s lack of control over compliance with labor discipline.

Administrative cases have been initiated against the head of the enterprise and the legal entity. The punishment was fines.
