This recipe, as reported by the author of a culinary blog on the TikTok social network, was almost lost during the Soviet Union. However, long-time residents of Avdiivka have preserved the recipe, which has been passed down from generation to generation since the 19th century. Residents of Avdiivka not only revived this dish, but also made it a national business card.
How to prepare Avdiiv “honor” porridge according to an ancient recipe
This porridge is called “honorary” because it has quite expensive ingredients and is prepared for 3 hours. The dish is more like an exquisite dessert, because it is sweet, thick and fragrant.
