“Metallurg and Barys met for the second time in the last ten days. At home, the Astana team achieved a victory, after which they were covered by a series of defeats. Magnitogorsk approached the match after losing to Avangard. Andrei Razin resorted to targeted changes in the lineup: he released eight defenders (Vladislav Eremenko became the eighth), and gave Scott Wilson a rest.
