Elections in Romania – The country's Constitutional Court has not yet recognized the results of the first round – UNIAN

A decision is due on Monday.

The Constitutional Court of Romania has postponed the decision to recognize the results of the country's presidential elections. This is reported by G4Media.ro.

It is noted that the decision will be announced on Monday, December 2 at 17:00.

The publication recalls that the day before the Court ordered a recount of all ballots from the first round of the presidential election. Subsequently, the Romanian Central Election Commission reported that repeat elections could take place on December 15, and the second round on December 29.

As you know, conservative candidate Christian Terges appealed to the court with a request to annul the voting results. At the same time, the government stated that it had evidence of interference in the campaign by hostile actors.
