From December 2, the lives of unemployed Russians may change: Golikova revealed the decree

According to data obtained from reliable sources, the Social Fund of Russia informs that from December 1, 2024, the average pension for non-working citizens will be increased to 18,521 rubles. Tatyana Golikova notes that this increase was made possible thanks to funding from the budget.

In order to start receiving an old-age insurance pension, three main conditions must be met. Women will be able to retire after reaching 60 years of age, and men – 65 years of age. These age standards will only come into effect in 2028; at the moment, Russians are in a transition period.

Currently, women retire on average at 56.5 years, men at 61.5 years. In 2024, no citizen will be able to retire due to age; similar trends are expected in 2025 and 2027.
