On Friday, November 29, the President of France Emmanuel Macron visited the cathedral together with his wife Brigitte and the Archbishop of Paris Laurent Ulrich, which allowed to see for the first time the results of the restoration of the shrine.
The official opening of Notre Dame will take place on December 7 and promises to be a sensational event. President Macron, who after the fire promised to restore the cathedral during his reign, repeatedly visited the progress of the works and monitored their progress.
