A few hours after the disappearance, the child's body was found in a reservoir.
A 9-year-old girl disappeared in Poltava Oblast on Saturday, November 30. After several hours of searching, the police found the child's body without signs of life.
This was reported in the Main Department of the National Police of the Poltava region.
“On November 30, around 5:00 p.m., the police of the Poltava region received information from relatives about the disappearance of a minor in the city of Reshetylivka,” the report says.
The entire personnel of the territorial police unit was involved in the search for the child. Local residents were also informed about the girl's disappearance.
During the search operation, the child was found in a local reservoir, but, unfortunately, there were no signs of life. The investigative team of the police is collecting evidence and testimony to establish the circumstances and causes of the tragedy.
