Biathlon: results of the first men's relay of the 2024/25 World Cup season

The national team of Ukraine took seventh place in the race.

On Sunday, December 1, at the first stage of the season Biathlon World Cup-2024/25 men's relay race took place in Kontiolagt, Finland.

National team of Ukraine represented in the race Bohdan Tsymbal, Dmytro Pidruchnyi, Anton Dudchenko and Vitaly Mandzin. The “blue-yellow” team finished in seventh place.

In the first stage, Tsymbal used one extra round in prone shooting and exited the firing range in 17th position. Bohdan made two mistakes on the rack, but he pulled our team up to the 10th place, which he kept until passing the baton.

In the second stage, Pidruchny shot cleanly lying down and rose to the 8th place. The captain of the Ukrainian national team practiced standing shooting with one inaccurate shot, coming in 7th position. Dmytro passed the baton to the 8th with a lag of only 9 seconds from the fourth place.
