The number of debts due to TCC fines has doubled

In Ukraine, there is an increase in debts due to fines imposed due to violations of military accounting rules. According to the Ministry of Justice, in the first ten months of 2024, more than 21,000 proceedings were recorded, which is twice as much as in the whole of 2023.

It is noted that only every third fine this year is paid on time. For comparison, last year, out of 10,542 arrears due to TCC fines, 72% of cases were closed.

The vast majority of debts fall to men — 99% or 21,161 cases. At the same time, women are increasingly receiving fines for violating military records — the number of proceedings against them has increased 1.4 times: from 121 in 2023 to 175 in 2024.
