Work for Ukrainians in the Czech Republic – what the police offer

Ukrainians in the Czech Republic, namely in the city of Jihlava, will probably be recruited to work in the police force to help with the so-called “problem” diaspora.
This is stated in the message of Radio Prague International with reference to the mayor of the city Petr Ryshka.
The Jihlava police have four assistants for the Roma community, and they plan to hire two more Ukrainians.
According to Ryshka, if there are candidates, they can start working in the police from the spring of 2025.
“There is quite a large diaspora here, with which there are some problems, and we think that we could become a little closer to them,” Ryshka noted.
In his opinion, Ukrainians will communicate with their community and draw attention to the observance of the law.
