The Uzbek abuser of a boxer from Kazakhstan started the 2024 Asian Championship with defeat – Boxing/MMA

Boxer from Uzbekistan Adhamjon Mukhiddinov made a confident start at the Asian Championships, which is taking place these days in Chiang Mai (Thailand), writes Sports.kz.

In the 1/8 finals of the weight category up to 63.5 kilograms, Mukhiddinov met with Chinese Dai Zhengming and defeated him by unanimous decision (5:0), thereby securing a ticket to the next round.

It should be noted that Adhamjon Mukhiddinov is the silver medalist of the so-called “small world championship” – the Strandzha Cup 2024 tournament, during which he defeated the Kazakh athlete Erasyl Tankay.

Kazakhstan is represented in this weight category at the 2024 Championship by Muhammedsabyr Bazarbayuly. In his opening bout he will face Thailand's Somchai Wongsuwan.
