Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski called on Europe to strengthen its defense capabilities after the US presidential election.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland, Radosław Sikorski, believes that after the presidential elections in the USA, Europe should immediately assume greater responsibility for its security, and Poland will be a leader in increasing the stability of the EU.
He stated this at a media briefing, commenting on the US elections, Ukrinform reports.
According to him, the correctness of Poland's foreign policy, which consists in maintaining political contacts with both Democrats and Republicans, has been confirmed.
The head of the Polish Foreign Ministry thanked both US presidential candidates – Donald Trump and Kamala Harris – for their kind words about Poland and confirmation of the alliance between Warsaw and Washington.
