The head of the German Foreign Ministry, Annalena Berbock, visited China on December 2, where she warned that Beijing's support for Russia would “affect” relations.
This was reported by Radio Svoboda with reference to AFP.
On December 2, Burbok met with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Beijing for a “strategic dialogue.”
A German minister told a Chinese colleague that “China's growing support for Russia's war against Ukraine has an impact on our relations.”
“The main interests of German and European security are affected,” Berbock said.
It is reported that immediately after this visit, the German minister will go to Brussels for a meeting of the heads of foreign affairs of NATO countries.
