The expert told how many able-bodied people remained in Ukraine – UNIAN
He recalled that there has been no population census in Ukraine since 2000 and therefore all population calculations are expert.
There were 18 million people in Ukraine before the active phase of hostilities began after the Russian attack. Economist and member of the Economic Discussion Club Oleg Pendzin spoke about this.
“We have 6.8 million people who left, of which about 4 million are economically active and of working age,” he said on air at Kiev24.
Pendzin recalled that there has been no population census in Ukraine since 2000 and therefore all population calculations are expert.
“Based on these calculations, we have 14 million able-bodied people left,” the expert noted.
